and conditions of service All
mares must have a clear clitoral swab prior to service. Any mares arriving at
stud without clear certificates will be tested at the stud at the owners
expense. Mares
must have their hind shoes removed, or this can be done at the stud at the
owners expense. All
mare owners are advised to insure their animals prior to arrival at the stud.
although every care is taken, mares, foals and any equipment are left at the
stud at the owners risk. Any
mare which is booked in for service but is a risk to the stallion or stud staff
will not be covered and no stud fee will be charged. Veterinary
work All
veterinary work at the stud, unless otherwise stated will be carried out by
Hawkedon veterinary practice. All mares will on veterinary advice be given any
medication or treatment which may be necessary for the cycling or fertility of
the mare. In case of emergency, if in our professional opinion a vet is required
one will be called at the owners expense. Fees All
stud fees, keep fees and veterinary fees are payable upon collection of the
mare, to be no exceptions. The stud fee is on a no foal free return basis . The
free return applies to the same mare this and the following
year. Stud
